 DO YOU THINK MONEY EDUCATION SHOULD BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS?

I would love a dollar for every time someone has told me Money Education should be taught in Schools.

Did you know that at a Government level there is a National strategy to get all New Zealanders getting ahead financially which includes School children? TE ARA AHUNGA ORA Retirement Commission has put together the strategy.  When I was doing some coaching recently, one of my participants told me she disliked even talking about money – it was very difficult for her. So it doesn’t surprise me that ‘Talk’ is  the Government’s first strategy. Getting people comfortable talking about the subject of money will enable them to move forward financially.
